APX HOOPS ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the APX HOOPS portal or joining the waitlist, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Name and email address (waitlist signup, account creation)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store raw card data)
- Player profile data: position, experience level, goals
- Homework submissions, mailbag questions, and session responses
- Office Hours booking details
Information collected automatically:
- Session activity: sessions attended, modules completed, quiz responses
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time in portal
- Device and browser type (for compatibility purposes)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and subscription
- To deliver the educational program (modules, homework feedback, IQ tracking)
- To communicate about sessions, updates, and your account status
- To send program-related emails (session reminders, launch updates, homework feedback)
- To improve the curriculum based on aggregate member performance data
- To process payments and manage billing via Stripe
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Email Communications
By joining the waitlist or creating an account, you consent to receive transactional and program-related emails. These include account setup, session reminders, homework feedback, and billing receipts.
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email. Transactional emails (billing receipts, account security) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Zoom — live session delivery
- ConvertKit / Beehiiv — email delivery
- Discord — community (Premium members)
These providers operate under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not authorize them to use your data for any purpose beyond providing services to us.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain account records for 12 months for billing dispute purposes, then delete or anonymize your data. Homework and session activity may be retained in anonymized form for curriculum improvement.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@apxhoops.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Contact us at support@apxhoops.com and we'll respond within 7 business days. If you're located in the EU or California, additional rights may apply under GDPR or CCPA.
8. Children
APX HOOPS is intended for users 13 and older. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We'll notify active members by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
